Bangladeshi businessman killed in South Africa

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: A Bangladeshi businessman was hacked to death by terrorists in South Africa.

The deceased was identified as Titu Khan, 35, son of late Hasmat Khan, hailed from Bawar Kumarjani village under Mirzapur upazila of Tangail.

Titu Khan have been living in South Africa for last 12 years. He and his two brothers were running a business in Masisi town, said his family members.

On Saturday night, a gang of robbers attacked him when he was returning home from the business center. He was hacked to dead by the criminals on the spot around 10:00pm on Saturday (Bangladesh Time). Meanwhile, the attackers looted cash money and mobile phone.

The body will be sent to home after maintaining legal procedures, Ranju Khan, brother of the victim said.
