Demo for 30pc FF quota reservation postponed

Staff Correspondent: The blockade programme which freedom fighters’ quota seekers were observing in the capital’s Shahbagh area demanding reinstatement of 30 percent quota in the civil service have been postponed on Monday evening.

Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan came up with the announcement of postponing the blockade programme at 6:30pm at Shahbagh in Dhaka.

Next programme will be announced at a press conference at the capital’s Segunbagicha area on October 14 (Sunday), Shahjahan said.

Earlier in the afternoon, the blockade proggramme was observed under the banner of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sontan Sangsad, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Projonmo and Muktijoddha Paribar.
