AL invites Oikyafront for talks on Nov 1

Senior Reporter: Responding to the letter of Gonoforum President Dr Kamal Hossain, the ruling Awami League has invited Jatiya Oikyafront leaders for talks at the Gono Bhaban on November 1.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invited Jatiya Oikyafront leaders for dinner and talks at 7.00pm on Thursday at the Gono Bhaban.

On behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a three-member delegation led by Awami League Office Secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golop went to the Bailey Road residence of Gonoforum President Dr Kamal Hossain at 8.00am on Tuesday with a letter for talks.

Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golop handed over the letter to Jatiya Oikyafront leader and Gano Forum Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu.

On Sunday, the Jatiya Oikyafront, led by Dr Kamal Hossain, sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina seeking dialogue over the national election.
