Two killed in Ctg gas pipeline explosion

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: At least two children were killed in a gas pipeline explosion in Hathazari upazila early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Rajia Sultana, 11, and Tamim, 3.  They succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

ASI Alauddin of CMCH police camp confirmed the matter.

He said three children and two women received burn injuries in an explosion of supply gas pipeline at a house named Harun Bhaban at Amanbazar in Hathazari upazila. They were taken to CMCM.

The injured are Soni Begum, Yesmin and Rubi Akter.
