ACC grills Abdul Awal Mintoo

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has grilled BNP’s vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo on charges of taking out loan using fake documents, dodging tax and money laundering.

ACC deputy director Md Samsul Alam started the investigation around 9:30am at ACC headquarters on Monday.

Earlier on October 31, the watchdog summoned him to appear on November 5. The summons notice was addressed to his Multimode Group, located in the Anchor Tower at the capital.

Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, public relations officer of the ACC confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
