‘Holding a fair election is now most important’

Staff Correspondent: Election Commissioner (EC) Rafiqul Islam said that now it is the most important to arrange the upcoming 11th general election as a fair one.

He said this at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s agargaon on Friday.

Rafiqul Islam said, “Now it is the biggest challenge to administer the election. All things from polling agent to administer the polls are now the challenge.”

In reply to a query, he said, “It is needed to fix the place of professionalism. There is any pressure, it can’t be possible to talk so frankly.”
