3 burnt in Ashulia gas cylinder blast

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Three members of a family received burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at Poshchim Bipal area of Ashulia on Saturday morning.
The injured are identified as Akram Hossain, his wife Laboni Aktar and their eight years old son Ashikur Rahman.
On information, a fire unit rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
The injured were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Humayun Kabir, station officer of DEPZ fire service said that fire broke out in the kitchen of the house around 5:00am as gas leaked from a gas cylinder, leaving three people injured.
The injured were sent to local hospital and shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
