No scope to make election questionable: Mahbub

Staff Correspondent: Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukdar has said the Election Commission doesn’t want to hold such an election which can raise question among people.
The Commissioner said these while speaking at the inaugural progrmme of a training workshop of government officials at Nirbachan Bhaban in the city on Monday.
The Election Commission asked the root level election officers to build credibility and confidence among the voters and candidates of the general election.
“If you fail, the election will fail. If you succeed the nation will shine. We can’t allow the election to flow to any different direction,” he said strongly.
The Election Commissioner said that around 2026 government officials will be trained all over the country whereas 408 officials will be trained through the workshop and the training programme will continue until December 09.
Election Commission Secretary Helaluddin Ahmad presided over the workshop.
