Four burnt in city gas cylinder blast

Staff Correspondent: Four people have been burnt in the incident of gas cylinder explosion in the capital’s Khilgaon area.

The incident took place at Ideal Workshop, Road-8 at West Goran in Khilgaon area on Saturday noon.

The victims were known as Dulal, 30, Robiul, 32, Hridoy, 15, and Anisur Rahman, 32.

Saiful Islam, one of co-workers of the victims, said the gas cylinder suddenly blasted with a bang, leaving four workers seriously burnt. They were admitted to the Burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Bachchu Mia, In-charge of DMCH police outpost, confirmed the news.
