ISPR warns of propaganda against army in social media

Staff Correspondent: Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) issued a warning saying that a vested quarter is trying to spread rumour and propaganda against army in social media using fake accounts in Facebook, Youtube and also fake websites ahead of the upcoming 11th parliamentary elections slated for December 30.
The ISPR came up with the warning at a press statement issued on Monday.
There is an ongoing plot to tarnish the image of Bangladesh Army by spreading rumour and propaganda against the army and its different organizations in social media using fake accounts in Facebook, Youtube and also fake websites, the press statement said.
The ISPR urged all to stay alert against such plot aiming to tarnish the reputation of Bangladesh Army and not to share any post published by fake social media accounts.
It also advised all concerned to visit the official website of the Bangladesh Army and its social media accounts in Facebook and Youtube for any information regarding the army.
