Dhaka-Mymensingh rail link restored

Staff Correspondent: Rail link between Dhaka and Mymensingh was restored after a six-hour disruption on Friday following a derailment.

Sreepur Railway Station’s Master Harun-or-Rashid said that railway engineers restored the link around 8:00am.

Locals said that two compartments of ‘Haor Express’ ran off the tracks at around 2:30am on Thursday. Rescuers removed the displaced bogies and repaired the rail link.
