Gas cylinder blast in Mirpur kills youth

Staff Correspondent: A youth has been killed, and a school boy has sustained burn injuries, in a gas cylinder explosion in Mirpur-1 area in the capital.
The deceased was identified as Md Siddik.
Darussalam police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Selimuzzaman said the incident took place in Education Board Laboratory School and College during preparation to hold annual sports ceremony around 7:00am on Friday, leaving two people injured critically.
Later, the injured Siddik succumbed to his injuries.
