3 killed in city road crashes

Staff Correspondent: Three people were killed injured in separate road crashes at Uattara and Khilkhet areas of the capital early Monday.
The deceased were identified as Md Dalim, 20, Md Mobarak, 27 and Bulbul Ahmed, 25.
Policeman of Airport Police Station, said a truck ploughed into a footpath around 1:00am after its driver lost control over the steering and hit the two pedestrians Dalim and Mobarak, leaving them dead on the spot.
Police seized the vehicle and arrested the driver and the helper of the truck.
On the other hand, Bulbul Hossain, 25 was killed when a speedy bus rammed him on 300-feet road in Khilket area.
Md Shahjahan Kabir, assistant sub-inspector of Khilkhet Police Station, said the bus fled the scene after the accident.
