Khaleda seeks bail in Comilla case

Staff Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has filed a bail petition with the High Court (HC) in connection with the Comilla arson case filed against her under Special Powers Act.
Khaleda's lawyer Barrister Kayser Kamal filed the writ petition with the bench of Justice AK Asaduzzaman and SM Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday.
The bench will hear the bail petition next week.
Eight people were killed and many injured after a bus was torched in Chauddagram upazila on February 2, 2015, during the anti-government agitation.
