Three to walk gallows for Liton muder in N’ganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A district court has awarded death penalty to three persons for killing a man named Liton in the district.

Judge Razia Sultana of district and session judge’s court-2 of Narayanganj passed the order on Wednesday noon.

The convicts were- Rafiq, Habib and Sharif Miah. Sharif is absconding.

Additional public prosecutor Fazlur Rahman said following previous enmity, Liton was stabbed to death on the roof of an abandoned house by these three convicts on December 1 of 2010.

Later, victim’s elder brother Siraj Mia filed a murder case mentioning the names.
