Political parties responsible for low voter turnout: CEC

Staff Correspondent: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has said that the political parties is responsible for the low voter turnout in Dhaka North city corporation elections.

“The Election Commission (EC) is not responsible. The responsibility goes to the candidates and political parties,” he told reporters after casting his vote at IES School and College centre in capital’s Uttara around 11.00am on Thursday.
