Fire injures 3 in Dhaka's Mirpur

Senior Correspondent: Three people including husband-wife received burn injuries after a fire broke out following an electric short circuit at Mirpur-13 in the capital early Wednesday.
The injured are- Mohammad Hannan, 35, his wife Asia Begum and neighbor Uzzal, 30.
Locals said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit around 3:00am in a house in Shamol Polli Notun Bazar area, leaving the three persons injured.
Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) burn unit confirmed the matter.
