Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Police detained 32 people for violating electoral code of conduct in Sreepur upazila of the district.
Identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Sreepur police station officer-in-charge Md Jabedul Islam said a total of 32 people were detained for running campaign violating election code of conduct in Upazila Parishad polls.
Voting will take place in Sreepur upazila parishad of Gazipur on March 24.
