ACC notice: No bar to probe against ABM Ruhul Amin

Staff Correspondent: The appellate division of the Supreme Court halted the High Court order that stayed the notice issued on Jatiya Party leader ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader to appear before Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The appellate division bench led by the Chief Justice passed the order on Sunday.

Following the court order, there is no legal bar to continue investigation against Ruhul Amin Howlader.

Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan moved for the ACC during the hearing.

Earlier on April 3, the High Court stayed for four weeks of the notice issued on ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader to appear before Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
