Obaidul Quader sounds for relaxing Eid journey

Staff Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, there is no possibility of traffic jam on roads. So, the Eid journey this time will be more relaxable than earlier.  

The minister said this while addressing reporters after visiting the activities of mobile court vigilance team at Gabtali Bus terminal in the capital on Friday noon.

He said, “The drivers have responsibility to reduce traffic jam on roads. No one should  become impatient while driving. Transport owners should arrange counselling so that drivers maintain restraint during driving vehicles in Ramadan.”

“Transports owners, workers, BRTA vigilance team, mobile court are working relentlessly to ensure smooth Eid journey for home bound people,” Obaidul Quader said.

Meanwhile, the minister expressed his firm attitude against extortionists.
