Export-import thru Bhomra land port halted

Satkhira Correspondent: The export and import activities through Bhomra land port of Satkhira district will remain closed for seven days from Sunday due to Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.

Port authorities said export-import among Bangladesh, India through the land port will resume on June 9.

Bhomra customs assistant commissioner Niamul Hasan said that however, the movement of passport-holder travellers through the check-post will continue as usual.

Land port C&F association president Arafat Hossain confirmed the matter.
