Owners of 31 brick kilns sued

Staff Correspondent: Police has filed a case against owners of unlicenced 31 brick kilns for operating those with fake writ of the High Court.

Dinajpur District Police submitted a report in this regard on Tuesday to a High Court bench of Justice Md Ashraful Islam and Justice Mohammad Ali.

Owners of 29 brick kilns in different upazilas of Dinajpur and one each in Nilphamari and Rangpur have been made accused in the case.

The incident of fake writ came to the fore when a report was published in a newspaper on April 23.

Later, Dinajpur DC Mahmudul Alam stopped operation of the brick field.
