Female AL leader stabbed dead in Rupganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj:  A female Union Parishad (UP) member and Awami League leader was stabbed to death by miscreants in Rupganj upazila of the district on Wednesday.

The victim Beauty Akther Kuttri was an UP member of Kayetpara union.

According to sources, miscreants attacked her in Westgaon area of the upazila.
Mahmudul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rupganj Police Station, said a team of police has been sent there and we are trying to arrest the criminals.
