Miscreants cut tendon of college student in Jashore

Jashore Correspondent: Miscreants stabbed a college student and cut tendon of his leg in Nilganj area of the district on Tuesday night.

The victim is identified as Imon Mollah, 20, son of Ismail Mollah.

Pranta, brother of the victim said, a group of youths named Rashed, Sabuj, Sabbir, Roki Bindu attacked Imon around 9:30pm on Tuesday, and severed the tendons of his left leg.

Locals took Imon to Jashore Sadar Hospital, later he was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Kotwali model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Samir Kumar Biswas confirmed the matter.
