‘DIG Mizan to be arrested definitely’

Senior Correspondent: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Mizanur Rahman will definitely be arrested if there is an arrest warrant against him, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan.

The minister made the opinion while addressing a program at Krishibid Institute Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday.

Asaduzzaman Khan said, “He will be arrested definitely if there is any specific arrest warrant against him. If he wants to surrender then he can do that.

“Legal action is being taken against him. The law enforcers are kept alert so that he cannot flee the country. Still, investigation is underway against the DIG,” he added.
