HM Ershad in CCU

Senior Correspondent: Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman HM Ershad was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Wednesday.

He was taken to CMH around 8:30am from his Baridhara house ‘President Park’ as his condition deteriorated.  

Quoting doctors, an assistant of Ershad said, “Sir is suffering from pneumonia. His treatment is underway at CCU. We hope that he will come round soon.”  

Wishing anonymity, the assistant said, “He was filling ill from Tuesday night. Sir, himself wanted to go hospital this morning. Later, he was admitted to CMH.”

Ershad’s younger brother GM Quader, Former Secretary General of Jatiya Party ABM Ruhul Amin Howladar, incumbent secretary general Moshiur Rahman Ranga and others visited to the hospital.
