Don't be afraid of dengue: Mayor

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Sayeed Khokon urged the city dwellers not to be panicked over Dengue and Chikungunya.

The city mayor made the call while addressing inaugural ceremony of fortnight long anti-mosquito operation in capital’s Montripara on Monday.

Sayeed Khokon said, “Our workers will jointly work to run anti-mosquito operation from today in every words of DSCC till July 11.”

“Besides, DSCC will launch special health hotline service on July 15. Anyone will be able to get free health service through it,” he said.

DSCC chief executive officer Md Mostafizur Rahman, Brigadier general Dr. Md Sharif Ahmed, word councilors attended the function.
