70 DAGs appointed

Staff Correspondent: The government has appointed 70 lawyers as Deputy Attorney General (DAG) who will discharge their duties in the Appellate Division and High Court Division of the Supreme Court.

The solicitor's office at the Law Ministry issued a notification in this regard upon getting the president's approval on Sunday.

Of the 70 DAGs, 31 were newly appointed, 32 re-appointed and seven Assistant Attorney Generals (AAGs) promoted to Deputy Attorney Generals (DAGs).
