Crescent hospital fined Tk17 lakh

Senior Correspondent: A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) fined a private hospital in Dhaka's Uttara area a total of Tk 17 lakh for using outdated medicines and other irregularities.

RAB Magistrate Sarwar Alam confirmed the matter to risingbd on Monday night.

He said, the drive, which started on this noon, ended at evening. The court fined Crescent hospital Tk17 lakh. The fines were imposed because of use of expired injections and medicine. The operation theater, cabin and general wards were found unhygienic.
