Mayors failed, says Mohammad Nasim

Senior Correspondent: Awami League Presidium member also former health minister Mohammad Nasim opined that the mayors of the two city corporations have failed to take effective steps against dengue.

He made the opinion while addressing reporters after visiting Dhaka Shishu Hospital in the capital on Tuesday noon.

“There is no different opinions that they (mayors) have failed to maintain their duties of the city corporations accordingly,” Mohammad Nasim said.

Expressing disagree about the quit demand of mayors, he said, the problems will not be solved if they resign. The responsibility of all should be maintained properly to get rid of this situation.

Former Health Minister Dr AFM Ruhul Haque, Sirajganj-3 MP and Dhaka Shishu Hospital former director Prof Dr Abdul Aziz attended the function.
