Newborn found dead in city

Staff Correspondent: Police recovered body of a newborn wrapped in a shopping bag from adjacent to Rasel Tower of Dhaka University (DU) area on Wednesday morning.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

Shahbag Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shahed Hossain said, “It was a baby boy aged to be one year.”

He, however, could not tell who left the body there.
