3 killed in Dhamrai road accident

Savar Correspondent:  Three people were killed as a bus hit a van on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Sutipara of Dhamrai upazila on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Fakir, 55, at Dhaira village under Nannar union of the upazila, Samad Babu, 58, and van puller Abdul Jabbar, 40.

Dipak Kumar Saha, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station, said a speedy bus hit the van from behind, killing two passengers on the spot. Van driver died on way to hospital.
