Metro Rail Project work begins soon

CHITTAGONG, Sept 6: Construction work of much-waited Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development (DMRTD) Project will begin soon as Japan has agreed to appoint a consultant.
 
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader disclosed this while visiting the work of Hathazari road in the port city on Friday morning.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will soon open the project at Uttara in the city, he also informed.
 

The government has signed and agreement involving around Tk 22,000 crore with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica) to implement the project.
