ECNEC approves 12 projects

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved 12 projects involving Tk 5,494.04 crore.

The approval came from the weekly ECNEC meeting held at the NEC Conference Room in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area with ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Tuesday (Aug 27).

Planning Minister MA Mannan briefed reporters about the details after the meeting.

Of the total cost, Tk 5,416.04 crore will come from the state exchequer, Tk 78 crore from project assistance.
