‘None who got casino money share will be spared’

Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader said none who received the casino money share will be spared.

The minister made the opinion while addressing reporters after setting up the foundation stone of office building of the Roads and Highways Sylhet Zone on Friday.

He said, “Awami League started the drive from its own party. No one who got involved with casino will be spared. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has a direction in this regard.”  

In reply to a question, he said, “Initiative to stop plying of three wheelers (Nasiman, Kariman etc) is underway. A letter has been sent to commerce ministry to stop the import of these vehicles. Besides, administration has already been instructed to take action against unregistered CNG-run rickshaws.”

Awami League central organizing secretary Misbah Uddin Siraj, Sylhet metropolitan president Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran and officials of roads and highway department were attended the function.
