Lokman put on 2-day remand

A court in Dhaka placed Director in-charge of Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd M Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan on a two-day remand.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari passed the order on Friday.

Earlier, police produced Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan before the court seeking five days remand in a case filed for operating illegal casino business.

On Wednesday night, Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) launched a drive at the residence of Lokman in Monipuripara of Tejgaon. Lokman is also a director of Bangladesh Cricket Board.
