‘Quality of healthcare in country has improved’

Health minister Jahid Malek said, the quality of healthcare in the country has improved a lot and the reputation has spread across the world.
The minister made the assertion while addressing an inaugural ceremony of newly-built sixth storied academic building of Sheikh Hasina Medical College in Tangail on Sunday.
He said, “We have provided vaccine to the all children in the country that’s why Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina got ‘Vaccine Hero’ award. It’s our pride.”
“There is lack of manpower including doctors in the country’s hospital. The government has taken initiative to fulfill the lacking. Already recruitment process has been started,” he added.
Tangail-5 (Sadar) constituency MP Alhaz Md Sanwar Hossain presided over the programme where district parishad chairman also Awami League president Fazlur Rahman Khan Faruk, Tangail-8, Tangail-6, Tangail-2 MPs and others attended the function.
