Eight SPs promoted to additional DIG

Eight officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been promoted to additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) posts.

A gazette notification signed by Dhananjay Kumar Das, deputy secretary of the Home Ministry's Public Security Department issued on Monday (October 29) in this regard.
