ACC files case against 4 Biman officials

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against four officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines including its general manager over requirement corruption.
ACC Assistant Director Saiful Islam filed the case on Monday afternoon.
The officials are- Biman Managing Director AM Mosaddique Ahmed, Director (Admin) Partha Kumar Pandit, Director (Flight Operations) Captain Farhad Hassan Jamil and General Manager Fakhrul Hossain Chowdhury.
According to the case statement, Biman officials were accused of engaging in corruption while recruiting cadet pilots. They did not follow the age and qualification requirements constituted by the institution, and instead issued a circular by putting their own clauses.
