Probe report on DU student rape case Feb 23

A Dhaka court has fixed February 23 for submitting the probe report in a case filed for raping a female student of Dhaka University.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sayed passed the order as the investigation officer failed to submit the probe report on Tuesday.

The victim’s father filed the case with Cantonment police station.

A female student of Dhaka University (DU) was reportedly raped  in Dhaka's Kurmitola area on January 5.

On information, her friend and classmates took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around midnight.
