Awami League-backed Dhaka South mayor aspirant Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh is hopeful about winning the polls.
He spoke to reporters around 8:30am after casting his vote at the polling station at Kamrunnesa Govt Girls High School at Dhanmondi in the city.
The mayor aspirant’s wife also voted at the centre.
