1075 centres: Taposh 399695, Ishraque 219027

Balloting in two Dhaka city corporations came to an end at 4:00pm on Saturday.

The Election Commission (EC) is now announcing results of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) unofficially.

According to the announcement, in 1075 centres: Awami League nominated Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh secured 399695 votes while BNP candidate Ishraque Hossain bagged 219027.

Joint Secretary of the EC Secretariat Md Abdul Baten is announcing the results at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).

Total centres in DSCC are 1,150 while voters 24,53,194.
