Modi to arrive in Dhaka Mar 17

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Dhaka on March 17 to attend the inauguration programme of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s  birth centenary.

Foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen confirmed the news on Sunday.

He said, “Indian PM Modi is set to arrive in Dhaka in the morning of March 17. This is decision till now. Any update may be come next. However, according to the schedule obtained till now, Foreign Affairs Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen will receive Modi at the airport as PM Sheikh Hasina will be at Tungipara then over birth centenary of the Father of the nation.”
