SCBA polls: AL wins president post, BNP secretary

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) elections were held on Wednesday and Thursday, and results were announced on Friday morning.

Pro-Awami League white panel has got six posts including president while pro-BNP blue panel has got eight posts including general secretary.

Senior Advocate AM Aminuddin has been elected the president of the association and Barrister Md Ruhul Quddus Kazal has been elected the secretary.

About 5,940 lawyers out of the total 7,781 cast their votes.
