Mirpur fire claims three lives of a family

Three people of a family were burnt to death as a fire broke out from mosquito coil at a house in the city’s Mirpur early Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Kolpona, 35, Jannat, 13 and Kauser, 8.

Rasel Shikdar, duty officer of Fire Service control room, confirmed the news to risingbd on Saturday noon.

He said, the fire broke out from a mosquito coil at a house (16/10) of B Block, leaving three burnt to death while they were sleeping.

On information, members of fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the fire, he added.

Later, they recovered the charred bodies from the house, he said.
