Police constable dies in quarantine in city

A police constable of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has died in quarantine.
The cop was taken to emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) around 10:30pm on Tuesday where duty doctors declared him dead. The body has been kept at the hospital morgue, our medical correspondent reports.
Wari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizur Rahman confirmed the news on Wednesday noon.
He said the police member was working in Wari Zone. He was put under quarantine in a hotel in the capital. On Tuesday night, he was rushed to DMCH after his physical condition deteriorated.
