Railways restarts operating train service

Bangladesh Railways has restarted the train service through operating a parcel train from Chattogram after it closed the service on March 26 amid coronavirus outbreak.
The parcel train with four goods-laden bogies left the Chattogram Rail Station for Dhaka around 10.00am on Friday.
Chattogram Rail Station Manager Ratan Kumar Chowdhury informed this to risingbd.
Earlier on Thursday in a press notification, the railways authorities said they had taken an initiative to operate three special parcel trains from Friday in transporting vegetables, fruits and essential food items.
