Domestic flights to be resumed from June 1

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has decided to resume domestic flights from June 1.

CAAB Chairman  Air Vice Marshall M Mafidur Rahman confirmed the development on Thursday.

He said, “The government has given permission to operate domestic flights on limited scale till June 15, after long days of suspension due to coronavirus pandemic. So, decision has been taken to operate flights on Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet routes primarily. Syadpur will also be added to the schedule.”

All kinds of domestic flights remain suspended from March 21 due to coronavirus outbreak.
