Industrialist Abdul Monem no more

Abdul Monem, chairman of Monem Group, passed away at a hospital in the capital on Sunday morning.

Abdul Monem suffered a stroke on May 17 and was undergoing treatment at the hospital where he breathed his last.

He will be buried at his village home in Brahmanbaria.

Kamrul Hassan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Igloo ice cream, one of sister concern of Abdul Monem Group, confirmed the news.

In a message, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abdul Monem.
