‘Govt to take tough decision if situation deteriorates’

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said the government will take tough decision if the situation deteriorates due to lack of hygiene and negligence.

Obaidul Quader said this while addressing a press conference at his residence in Sangsad Bhaban area on Monday noon.

He said, “I am requesting the owners to drive their transports maintaining health rules. Besides, I am urging law enforcing agencies, vigilance team, mobile courts and terminal authorities to maintain health rules.”

“Additional passenger carrying, health rules violation would make the situation worsen. Then, the government would take tough decision again for the sake of people,” he added.
